I'm becoming increasingly aware of the importance of daily feeding myself with not only God's word but also the prophetic promises that have been given to me.
What we SEE affects EVERYTHING! If we are feeling encouraged and hopeful then everything is looking good! We are THANKFUL - HOPEFUL - we BELIEVE for many things to come to pass.
But if 'THAT' promise/prophecy has not been fulfilled yet, and for some of us, some of these may have been years; 'what we see' at those times are extremely important to us.
CHOICES
During the past few years I have been so blown away to see how the choices we make, are of such phenomenal importance, because everything in our lives hinges from our 'Believe System' and the choices we make; what we 'see'.
It takes EFFORT to choose to believe what God has said, when the doctors report, the banks report etc is telling us something entirely different.
In a way, we have to become stubborn. We don't back down, or slip off into unbelief when circumstances are saying, or even screaming at us, that things aren't as they should be.
Romans 4:17
'This is what the scriptures mean when they say the God made Abraham the father of many nations. God will accept all people in every nation who trust God as Abraham did. And this promise is from God himself, who makes the dead live again and SPEAKS OF FUTURE EVENTS WITH AS MUCH CERTAINTY AS THOUGH THEY WERE ALREADY PAST.'
I've deliberately typed the latter part of that verse in capital letters to call attention to it. If God has given you a promise, personally, to you, through the Bible, dreams, visions, prophecy, arts, nature whatever way He chooses, then you can CONFIDENTLY speak that out. Saying 'Thank you Father for my healing' - 'Thank you Father I'm debt free!' - 'Thank you Father all of my family walking with Jesus'.
These is not 'wishful thinking' or maybe it'll happen - IF HE has shown you, then it's a done deal!

And as you give thanks, daily, to the promises that your Heavenly Father has said to you, FAITH builds. You get to that place where you know, that you know, that this IS coming to pass because HE said so!! And NOTHING absolutely NOTHING will stop the FULFILLMENT of what the author of the Universe has promised!!
So, let's just take a moment....What do YOU see? What has HE said? What are you SPEAKING?
Because our Heavenly Father wants to see us blossom and grow into maturity in Him and to speak LIFE, in Jesus name, over hopeless situations, over villages, towns, cities and nations! Hallelujah!!
